Come for your weekly acting practise
Act each week with a scene partner to explore a scene
Receive direction and discuss acting technique
Keeps you progressing, confident, excited and engaged
For both new and experienced actors
For Experienced Actors
Starting with an assumed knowledge of acting, we will delve deeper into the tools we use, and look at some more advanced theories and ideas in acting. Part planned, part experimentation, we will work together to change a scene, strengthen your flexibility, and overcome anything that may be blocking you. It is a chance to perform regularly, to keep you in practice for auditions and roles.
For those who have trained or work in the industry.
Mondays: 10 / 17 / 24 / 31 March - 19:15 - 21:45 (2.5h)
For Curious Actors
Here we will look into the basics of professional acting, and spend time putting them into practice. We will look into the standard “toolbox” used by all actors, and begin to unpack what these approaches do and why they help. You will experience using them in a scene and combine them together to bring a scene to life.
For those doing it for the love of acting, or for those curious to take it a bit further; open to all.
Tuesdays: 11 / 18 / 25 March - 19:15 - 21:45 (2.5h)
